





Almost halfway there! Did cardio X this morning and BOY DID I SWEAT! It's funny - there further I get into this program (and the colder the weather gets) the more I sweat!
Diet today -
-Tuna rollup w/ cheddar on a low carb tortilla
-Cottage Cheese!
-Hummus and pita chips (less than 10)
-Dinner - ?
-Snack 2 - ?

So I rechecked my post yesterday and realized that i had gotten a VERY nice comment from another Leaner, somrfox. First of all, I'd like to truly thank every single person that has supported me through all of this and every nice comment that has come my way. You have no idea how much it has meant in the long run! I appreciate you all so much :). Now, second, I would like to say BRAVO on starting the P90X lean version!
I am in support of P90x classic, but I truly enjoy the setup of the lean version more. Though it is supposedly scientifically proven that you burn more calories/lose more weight in lifting exercises, I do believe all the cardio in this program has made a huge difference in my life. It's more fun anyways :). Plus, I love the way I'm leaning out - I don't know if I'd be more happy if I were lifting more and gaining more lean muscle. Haha long story short, I LOVE LEAN!
As for questions about how much I've lost, TOMORROW I am halfway done with the X, and I intend on posting Day 1 and Day 45 pictures as well as measurements, so stay tuned until then! I can say that before I weighed in each day at anything from 127-129, and I weigh in the same today. I'm not worried about that, because I'm obviously losing fat and gaining muscle in it's place! So tomorrow all that info will be up.
For anyone starting any P90X program (or any workout program at all), here are a few things I've learned in the past 45 days:
1) DO THE DIET! It took me a LONG time to decide to commit to a clean diet, but once I did, I started making more improvements in one week than I'd seen the entire first 30 days!
2) TAKE PICTURES! I can't stress this enough. Sometimes, when i get down, I can go back and look at pictures from the first week and completely see the changes I've made. I don't know if I'd believe it was working if I didn't have this pictures. So take pictures, LOTS of pictures, from all different angles. I obviously do it everyday, but if that's too much for you go every week. Just suck it up and do it. It will make all the difference!
3) Don't beat yourself up if you miss a workout or have a couple drinks or eat a few slices of pizza. You are changing your life, and as long as you get back to the program the next day, it's not going to affect you that much!
4) Stick with it - in researching hundreds of transformations on Beachbody.com, I can see that most all people doing P90X have results on day 30 that pale in comparison to their 60 and 90 day shots. People seem to really lose the weight after those first 30 days! So if you're struggled up until that point just keep going! It will pay off!
5) Join a support group (on Beachbody.com's message boards). I'm part of a great one, the P90X Dogpound. You're more than welcome to join us, or you could start your own group or hop into a group of people that started on or around the same day as you. It has been awesome to have so many people that keep you accountable, and it's fun to begin and end the workouts with a group!
